1. Why can’t I see a restaurant rating?
Some counties don’t publish inspection data regularly. We’ll refresh our database as soon as new records are available.
2. How are health scores calculated?
Each state uses its own system (letter grade, numeric score, or pass/fail). You can view details under the ℹ️ Info button in the app.
3. I found an error in a listing—what should I do?
Email us with the restaurant name and address so we can review it.
4. How do I delete my account or data?
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or contact [email protected] for manual removal.
5. How can I advertise or partner with Sauce Sensei?
We offer sponsored restaurant placements and affiliate options. Email our team for details.

By using the Sauce Sensei app, the DineSafe Collective website, or any of our related services (“Services”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account or use interactive features such as ratings and comments.
If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s consent to use the app.
3. Purpose of the Service
The Sauce Sensei app and DineSafe Collective website provide publicly sourced restaurant health inspection data, community ratings, and educational materials about safe dining practices.
We do not conduct inspections ourselves, and we make no guarantees about data accuracy or timeliness beyond the information published by official public health departments.
4. Account Creation and Responsibilities
When creating a Sauce Sensei account:
You must provide accurate information (such as display name and email).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree not to share your account, impersonate others, or use automated tools (bots) to access or manipulate the platform.
DineSafe Collective may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Content and Conduct
Our community thrives on shared insights — but it must remain respectful and safe.
By submitting comments, ratings, photos, or other content (“User Content”), you agree that:
-You retain ownership of your content but grant DineSafe Collective a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute it through our Services.
-You will not post false, misleading, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal content.
-You will not upload explicit or harmful imagery; all media uploads may be moderated or filtered automatically for safety (using Apple Vision or Google Vision SafeSearch).
-You understand that content may be removed if it violates community standards or local laws.
6. Data Sources and Accuracy
Official inspection data is gathered from verified public health departments across multiple jurisdictions.
While we strive for accuracy, data may occasionally be outdated or incomplete due to differing publication schedules.
Use this information as a guide — not as a substitute for local health authority advice.
7. Privacy and Data Use
Your use of Sauce Sensei and related services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and protect personal data.
By using our Services, you consent to that data usage.
8. Intellectual Property
All content and trademarks on Sauce Sensei and DineSafe Collective (logos, design, code, graphics, text, etc.) are owned or licensed by DineSafe Collective.
